Hudson Associates Acquires eKnowledgeCenter

Hudson Associates Consulting, Inc. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, has announced the completion of the purchase of eKnowledgeCenter.  eKnowledgeCenter is a major training provider in the field of Knowledge Management, with a successful eLearning Knowledge Management training and certification program that has provided Knowledge Management training to more than 3,500 participants.  

 

eKnowledgeCenter has as its roots Agilis Corporation (1996) where it established a variety of Knowledge Management training and certification programs and related Intellectual Property which it then provided for the original Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI) beginning in 1997, and then as division of Extreme Innovation, Inc. in 1999, and then as a division of Innovation Management Institute International (IMII) in 2000, which then became Cognatek Group, Inc. in 2002.

 

Although providing Knowledge Management certification training (Certified Knowledge Manager and Certified Knowledge Environment Engineer) since 1997, in 1999 eKnowledgeCenter's eLearning program became the first online Knowledge Management certification and training program.
